Canada 3
I would describe myself as a vivacious and humorous person who finds joy in her life. However, I have always been academically inclined, and career focused. I think that I am the happiest in the library or conducting a quality classroom. I have studied English from Canada, and Law from the United Kingdom, so I can converse on a wide array of topics with any age demographic and English proficiency. This is why I enjoy teaching Daily News and Conversational English. When my students see my enthusiasm, the energy of the classroom becomes a positive one. I worked for two years as a lawyer, which I certainly enjoyed but also learned to write and speak immaculately. I would call myself a ‘globetrotter’ because travelling is not just a hobby but a way of life for me. From Bali’s beaches to historical Spain, Italian pizza and Chinese dumplings, I have immersed myself
and deeply enjoy and respect different cultures.
1)A distinct advantage that I have is that I can readily inculcate technology into a lesson. For example, I can show a 2 minute movie clip to reinforce the topic at hand.Hoever, it is crucial to note that I do not allow any source of technology overshadow the human element of online teaching.
2) I have been involved with lesson planning and curriculum devekopment for 10 years. I have mastered the art of creating comprehensive lesson flows, but moreover flexible one. This allows me to quickly gauge a student's level of proficiency and motivation. The flexibility of my lesson plan and the 'on the spot' adaptability from TPR,TBL, inquiry lesson has made me a teacher of superior quality.
1) English Literature ( I received a world distinction and so can you!)
2) Reciting Poetry- I like listening to and reciting emotion evoking poetry.
3) Writing – I keep a journal where I write my own insights and experiences. It is
astonishing what a pen and piece of paper can do.
4) Working at Self-Development: I watch TED talks and podcasts by famous
contemporary thinkers such as Sadhguru and Jay Shetty, looking at how thinking
applies to my everyday life.
5) Relationship building :I meet and network with, writers, musicians and scholars at
small gathering hosted at my beautiful home. Mental health has become such a
large narrative in Canada and Prince William and Kate Middlton have had many
open-discussions about it. My hope is to gather these great and diverse minds to
shed more light on the topic.
6) Communication and people’s skills: I have acquired the skill of making an
engaging classroom. A ‘safe space’ where individuals can freely express their
opinions and ideas. I do not play the authoritative figure of a teacher here, but
rather a relatable and sharing person.
hobby:travelling the world
listening to good music
fashion
watching Youtube documentaries
Like Books:My favourite book is "Mrs.Dalloway". I also enjoy biographies and reading articles on law.
Like sports:yes! I was sports captain in junior high.Nowadays, I enjoy swimming and pilates.

Experience(year):10 years
Motto:'you learn until your last day' -something I learned from my teacher, who was a famous Supreme Court lawyer.
