My name is Teacher Amy. I am a native English speaker and earned my bachelor's degree from Midwestern State University in Texas, USA. I have been teaching English for approximately two years, both online and in-person. While teaching English comes naturally to me, I have enhanced my skills by completing a 168-hour TEFL course, and I am continually seeking ways to improve as an ESL teacher. In addition to my qualifications, I believe that my friendly and welcoming demeanor fosters a conducive learning environment. I understand that every student learns differently and at their own pace, so I strive to adjust my teaching methods accordingly.
Besides my qualifications, my patience and warm, friendly demeanor make me the ideal teacher. These qualities foster an environment conducive to learning. By making lessons relatable and engaging, I also ensure that students take away as much as possible from each lesson, while keeping in mind that every student learns differently and at a different pace.
